As a black person I have to say, sometimes my people just get on my last damn nerves.
For some reason, we hate it when white people say we're loud and ignorant, and yet, we behave in manners that display this ignorance...and we're very loud about our ignorance.
When I was flying to Nairobi from Dubai the flight was slightly delayed and while the white people sat quietly and accepted that the flight was going to get there in due time, the black people made so much noise, as if the noise would get the aircraft there faster.
As for the ignorance, why is it that for black people, hustling is now the ïn thing". Its no longer cool or admirable to get an educcation and get a job or start a business in a legal and proper way. Nowadays, all black men have to have a side hustle to be admired by other black men. Its all about avoiding the popo and earning that extra buck in a way that you can't explain to your parents without sweating.
Why is it that when black people start a discussion or trending topic on twitter it's always a foolish one. If you're a twitter you'll know what i'm talking about. I can almost assure you the trending topics about the war in Iraq or anything on CNN are not started by black people. If you see a trending topic like #threewordsaftersex or #urehittingitwrong or #fabsteeth or anything along those useless lines, you can be sure there's a black person behind it. Why must we always display our foolishness?
Why is it always the black people that have a problem with inter racial dating. Any black girl that's been with a white guy will tell you that when they're walking in town together, it's always the black people that give them the "side eye"or the dirty looks.
Why are black women so bitchy? Yes, I realise I am also a black woman but still....
I want my brother to marry a white woman, coz they are soo much nicer...lol

ReplyDeletei agree with all that you have said,sometimes when i see black people acting all stupid and as if they have some of their brain take out,i just wish the ground would swallow.some black people people make me wish i wasnt one.about the dating thing,u cudnt be more on point.not that i dont want to date a black guy,but to be honest i can see myself going the other way.......
ReplyDeleteblack people are not annoying! infact they just have so much life in them that one never gets bored being around a black person!!! yes we may be loud thats because we are so full of life and humour!!! being a bicht aint necessarily bad so i think black peoples character....my character is what diffentiates us all!!!
ReplyDeleteThere's a limit to such things. just because you have a sense of humour doesn,t mean you have to be loud, aggressive and annoying about it. And are you trying to say that white people or people of other races are not full of life?
ReplyDeleteyes i get your point there is a limit....im not saying that other races dont have a sence of humour...they do but they do not express it as much!!! personally....no offence.....i think it is the whole 'lookind down on black people'..racism and the whole colonisation process that made black people this way! it also depends on where one has grown up!
ReplyDeleteI'm not looking down on black people at all...I just think that it would not kill us to sometimes be a little more civilised about things. I am african, i've grown up in Africa and I have also lived in England. So i have seen black poeple in their "motherland" and in a foreign land, the bahaviour is the same; loud, aggressive and annoying..actually, it might be worse when they're in a foreigh country. I honestly do not think that racism has made black people the way they are, thats just blaming the "white man"....
ReplyDeletei know you are not lookin down on black people ........so if not racism then what? has it ever occured to you that maybe the white man is to blame!!! our ancestores or grand parents were treated unhumanly.....turning them agressive and that kind of agression just doesnt dissapear in one decade!!!
ReplyDeleteMaybe its time for people to get over that? It happened over a hundred years ago, I'm not saying forget about it, but carrying it on and on, is just not necessary..you can't be aggressive and uncivilized because 300 years ago, your great great great great great grandmother was not treated right. Unless you personally have faced racism and felt the need to be that way to defend yourself, there's no need for this generation to carry that grudge.
