I've always thought being impatient was a weakness. So when I saw this advert, I was rather amused. If for whatever reason you can't watch the video. Let me summarize it for you:
Patience waits, never asks for the pay rise, always finishes last, never just goes for it, always leaves things to be done later on, waits for things to happen.
Impatience goes for it, makes things happen, always finishes first. Impatience gives you the drive, the ambition to make it, doesn't wait for anybody to do the work for you. Gets to the front and gets on top of things.
The trick is to recognize when a situation would benefit from either impatience or patience. If you're working with lazy people, impatience comes in handy, because you get the work done. I'm not encouraging anybody to go and jump queues in the supermarket..lol..that's just rude. What I'm saying is: If you want something, Go for it, don't wait for it to come to you. If you want something done, get up and get it done. Time waits for no man. Impatience, if used correctly, Is a virtue.

I like the use of the word..if used correctly is a virtue.with impatience you have to qualify. Naturally humans are impatient. We want results today. Waiting sucks..But it pays off in the end.
